**Explaining the Reign of Christ, known as the one thousand year reign**
Papias of Hierapolis lived around 60–130 AD. He was a Greek bishop and author who recorded details about Jesus and the apostles in a work called Exposition of the Sayings of the Lord
According to most scholarly consensus, Papias wrote “Exposition of the Sayings of the Lord” around the turn of the 2nd century, likely between 95 and 110 AD
According to historical records, Papias, an early church father, believed and taught that the church would reign on Earth for a thousand years, a concept known as the “Millennium” based on his interpretation of biblical passages, most notably from the Book of Revelation; this view is often referred to as **chiliasm.**
both the Greek and Hebrew languages can be considered alphanumeric, meaning each letter in their alphabets also has a numerical value, similar to how Roman numerals work; however, unlike Hebrew, Greek has a fully developed alphabet with separate symbols for vowels and consonants, making it more readily translatable to numbers.
In Greek, “chilios” (χίλιοι) means “thousand”
The word elef has been the subject of controversy among Jewish and Messianic scholars. The controversy centers on whether the word means “clans” or “thousands”
“clans” and “tribes” are often used interchangeably in certain contexts
The Hebrew word elef can mean tribes or thousand.
Eusebius’s role:
He documented the views of other early Christians, including Papias, who believed in a literal millennial reign of Christ for a thousand years.
Papias’s belief:
According to Eusebius, Papias stated that after the resurrection, there would be a thousand-year period where Christ would reign visibly on Earth.
Eusebius’s own stance:
While Eusebius recorded Papias’s views, scholars debate whether Eusebius himself fully endorsed this “millennialism” or interpreted it more symbolically.
Eusebius did not directly say the church would reign for a thousand years, but he did record the belief of Papias, an early church father, who stated that there would be a thousand-year reign of Christ on earth after the resurrection, as mentioned in Eusebius’s “Ecclesiastical History”
**It was not originally a belief that Jesus and the church would reign for one thousand years. The belief came from Papias, and they called it Chiliasm because the Greek word for one thousand was Chilios. Papias thought revelation should have been translated to a literal thousand, instead of being translated to the judgment of the tribes.**
**Papias’ belief was debated, and was one of the people whose writings were important to the church in Rome especially during the time of Eusebius, the council of Nicaea and Constantine, when they settled on what church doctrine would be official.**
Eusebius of Caesarea was present at the Council of Nicaea in 325. He was the Bishop of Caesarea at the time.
**When the church saw that Constantine was accepting of Christianity and stopping its persecution and giving them freedom, and settling on doctrine making it official which had been debated for years, Many believed that was the beginning of the reign of Christ on earth because the most powerful empire in the world was now accepting Christianity, and the most powerful man on earth was becoming a Christian.**
**Because of that belief they settled on Chiliasm saying that they would reign for one thousand years, and translating Revelation 20 to mean the reign of Christ would be one thousand years.**
**The Book of Revelation is one of the only letters contained in what is called the New Testament which was not translated into fluent Greek, making it a fact that it was first written in a different language. The Book of Revelation has passages in it which say things like, you have tried them which say they are Jews and are not: showing it was written to the Jewish people. Every single thing in the book of Revelation is either a direct quote from, or alludes to the things written in the Prophets, which were only to the Jews, and were written in Hebrew in the first century. Revelation was clearly to a Jewish audience about Jewish prophets being fulfilled, prophets and scriptures that were never to or for the Gentiles.**
**Revelation would have originally been written in Hebrew. The Hebrew language was alphanumeric, meaning they didn’t have letters and numbers seperated, so anything could be translated to a word or a number. When they translated the book of Revelation, they transled the word to one thousand instead of to tribes.**
**The Hebrew language had to be interpreted because many charachters and phrases had multiple meanings. For example it could take us 50 words in english to translate 12 words from Hebrew, because their words were phrases. When they translated Revelation chapter 20 and the one thousand year reign, it would have been up to the translator, and they would have to translate whole phrases. For them to say one thousand year reign, could have just has easily been translated to the judgment of the tribes, or the times of the tribes reign. It was up to the translator and what they believed it meant. The same words for judge is reign, the same words for years is times, the same word for tribes is one thousand.**
**Knowing that it could be a simple translation issue, we have to use the Bible and the rest of the story to interpret what should have been written. No where in the law, the prophets, or Jesus and the apostles words does it allude to a one thousand year reign, but everywhere about the tribes reigning, was speaking of the time they would judge the twelve tribes of Israel. I’ll start with common sense, simple verses, and then explain the reign of Christ using what the Bible says.**
**Starting with the easiest things first.**
Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Mark 9:1And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
**I posted Matthew’s and Mark’s account because Mark made it clear it was talking about their generation.**
Revelation 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
**Revelation 22 is the fulfillment of what Jesus told them in Matthew and Mark. He was coming so quickly to reward every one according to their works, that he told those who were holy to be holy still, and those who were filthy to be filthy still. Also notice this part in Revelation happened after the “1000 year reign.” People did not live to be one thousand years old, and Jesus told them some of them wouldn’t die before everyone was rewarded according to their works, so the reign of Christ couldn’t have been one thousand years.**
**In Revelation 21, Gog and Magog comes after the reign of Christ. Gog and Magog comes from a prophecy in Ezekiel, which said they would fall on the hills of Jerusalem, so we know it was a prophecy about Jerusalem.**
Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
**In Luke 21, Jesus tells them all things written would be fulfilled when the gentiles surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed their temple. All things written would include Gog and Magog. So that also negates a one thousand year reign. Is it just a coincidence that one thousand year reign also translates to reign of the tribes? That would be a major coincidence.**
Isaiah 27:In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. 9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
10 Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
**Isaiah chapter 27 shows that Satan would be defeated when the altar was burned and the temple and city of Jerusalem were left desolate. So we know Satan had to be defeated at that event.**
**When I continue writing this, I will show exact and direct verses that let us know exactly what the reign of Christ was, and when it would happen, and when Satan was cast down, let back out of the bottomless pit and thrown into the lake of fire.**
**Revelation chapter 12 shows Jesus Christ until his reign is finished. It shows the entire work of Christ and is my favorite chapter in the Bible. It shows Christ from birth until he delivers the kingdom back to the Father. Use it as a Key for all things concerning Christ.**
Revelation 12: And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
**All through the law and the prophets, really from Adam, the world looked for a savior and were always hoping for a future time when a savior would come. They prophesied and prayed, fasted, begged, looked in hope for the day their souls would be redeemed from the grave.**
Hebews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
**The word WORLD in these verses means AGE. They all cried and begged, hoping for the last time, hoping for the end of the ages of sin. Jesus came in the last days, died, and rose again to sit at the right hand of the Father.**
**It was Israel who God chose, through Abraham, to bring forth a savior to the world, to bring Christ to end sin for the entire world. Israel travailed in birth and brought forth Jesus Christ, through Mary. She is the woman clothed with the sun.**
**Jesus was God’s plan from the foundation of the ages, and when he came it was the last days, the end times, the end of the ages of sin.**
1 Peter 1:20
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Galatians 4:4
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Hebrews 8:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
**Those in the old testament who waited for Christ, never spoke of anything after Christ. In all times they mentioned the Christ, they mentioned the end of sin, the end of Jerusalem, the end of the ages of sin and what they called the last time, the last days.**
**Those in the New Testament said they were in those days, they were in the end of the ages, and the time was short, at hand, nigh.**
Revelation 12:4…and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
**When Jesus was born Satan tried to kill him as soon as he was born. That was Herod killing all the babies under two years old, but Jesus finished his work and was caught up to God and to God’s throne. Once Satan went up to heaven past Jesus, it started a war in heaven between Michael and his angels and the dragon and his angels.**
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
**As we read in Hebrews. Jesus appeared in the end of the age to PUT AWAY sin by the sacrifice of himself, but it wasn’t until he returned from heaven a second time WITHOUT SIN that salvation came. As here in Revelation 12, once the dragon was cast down, then came Salvation and the kingdom of their God and the power of his Christ because Satan was cast down, which accused them of sin day and night. The way they defeated Satan and gave power to Michael to kick Satan’s ass out of heaven, was the believers also died sinless through the blood of Jesus, and preached through the testimony of the Holy Ghost.**
**So we see a whole story forming. The world prayed for a Messiah. The messiah came and it meant it was the end of the age of sin. The Messiah died for their past sins and was caught up to the right hand of the Father. Then those who believed in him overcame Satan by the blood of the lamb. Satan brought sin to the world and accused the people day and night before the throne of God, but they through the blood of Jesus, who died for their sins, overcame Satan and loved not their lives unto the death. Then Satan was cast down, once the one hundred and forty four thousand loved not their lives unto the death. Once Satan was cast down then came salvation, then came the return of Christ without sin unto salvation, and the one hundred and forty four thousand became the first resurrection.**
**We have seen that Jesus sat at the right hand of God. God’s right hand in the old testament meant Salvation. Jesus was able to go to heaven past Satan because he was sinless and that made him the perfect Sacrifice.**
Acts 2:33
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Acts 7:55
But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
**What was Jesus doing while he was in heaven, before he returned?**
Revelation 5:6
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Revelation 5:12
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Revelation 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
**We read all these verses in the Bible, that through Jesus God made the ages, the heavens, etc, all that meant was Jesus was the plan of God from the beginning. He was the one who would come at the end of the age, to put away the sin that Satan brought. When Jesus went to heaven he was sitting at the right hand, the salvation of God. It was sin that took people from the salvation of God, and it was the end of sin that brought people back to the salvation of God.**
**While Jesus was in heaven, while the believers were on the earth, while they waited for the return of Christ, there was war in heaven, Michael and Satan fighting. The believers were overcoming Satan (The one who brought sin) by the blood of Jesus Christ (The one who put away sin by his death) and the word of their Testimony (The Holy Ghost) which those who believed in him received because he was ascended to the right hand of the Father. Jesus was a lamb slain having seven eyes and seven horns. The eyes represent the seven seals that were in the right hand of the Father. Eyes open and close and represent the seals. The seven horns on the lamb represent the seven trumpets. Jesus’ reign would be the seals and the trumpets. After the trumpets it said the vials were the wrath of God almighty.**
**So it is important to know that Jesus’ reign was only the seals and trumpets. Keep that in mind while reading this lesson.**
**Jesus was a helpless little lamb slain before the throne of God until his return, and then they hid themselves from the wrath of the lamb. His followers were like lambs to the slaughter, and also helpless until the return of Christ, and they came back with him and destroyed Israel and Jerusalem.**
**After Jesus died and went to heaven, the believers were overcoming Satan, fighting against principalities and powers in heavenly places, being slaughtered and killed, not loving their lives to the death, until the return of Christ.**
**We see through the entire Bible who Jesus was and why. He was there to defeat sin, so Satan could be defeated. So what was the reign of Christ?**
**The things in the New Testament concerning the Reign of Christ come from Daniel**
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down (KJV says cast down, it really means set in place), and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
**Let’s put Daniel in English. A time would come when one like the son of man would come with the clouds of heaven, and he and the saints would take all dominion and give it back to the father, and they would receive a kingdom that would never pass away. That Kingdom is in heaven. Read Daniel like this, because Daniel is what 1 Corinthians is quoting.**
1 Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
**Jesus said what his reign would be**
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Mark 8:38
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Luke 9:26
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.
Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 26:29
But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
Mark 14:25
Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
Luke 22:18
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
Luke 22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
**Jesus said his reign would be when he returned in his Father’s kingdom and in his own, and those who followed him in his temptations, those standing with him, those who didn’t reject him in that generation would be his angels, and sit on the thone with him, to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.**
**The reign of Christ was the judgment of the twelve tribes of Israel**
**Next will be when the reign of Christ was, when it began, and the details of the reign of Christ.**
**Google warriors with their agenda will tell you that Revelation was written in Greek, but it would have originally been written in Hebrew. People will tell you that none of the new testament was ever written in Hebrew, but Papias wrote as early as 110 AD, just forty years after the destruction of Jerusalem, and said that Matthew and Mark were originally written in Hebrew. One major thing we can take from Papias saying that is that as early as forty years after Jerusalem’s destruction, they were already reading copies of things written before 70 AD. Also one of my favorite things to note is that It was Jesus speaking to John in a vision in Revelation, and the other time we know of Jesus speaking to someone in a vision, He was speaking Hebrew. Also Revelation is not fluidly written in Greek, which proves it came from another language. So I just wanted to add this before I start on the rest of this lesson.**
Acts 26:14
And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
**NOTICE the seeming contradiction in these verses between Matthew and Luke?**
Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 **Then shall they deliver you up** to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 **But before all these,** they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
**People make a big mistake with Matthew 24 because they think that it goes in order. They think when it says THEN, it is saying next or after. The word THEN used in Matthew and in Luke just means at that time. Not next. It just meant something that would happen in those days.**
Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 **And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.**
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 **So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.**
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 **And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.**
28 **And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.**
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 **So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.**
**Put those together and you see that Jesus’ coming was in 66 AD. Tribulation of the saints, and then Jesus’ coming, Then the Gentiles trampled the city and there was wrath on the Jews, once Jesus returned in 66 AD and the believers fled into the wilderness, and the wicked were trapped in the cites of Israel. Which was when Jesus separated the sheep from the goats.**
**Knowing all that, I’m going to quote Jesus again. I want to make sure people get these things, so instead of concise writing, I want to repeat when necessary.**
Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
**People will tell you a thousand years means a literal thousand years. Saying the reign of Christ will be a literal thousand years. In that belief, Satan is bound during the kingdom of Christ and the reign of Christ in his kingdom. They say Satan is thrown into the bottomless pit and Christ will rule on the earth for one thousand years, and then Satan is let out of his prison for a little season to gather all the armies together for the battle of Gog and Magog.**
**According to the Bible Jesus’ reign began before some of them standing with him died. Jesus’ reign began in their generation. Most people don’t even think Jesus’ reign has begun yet. If it was a literal thousand years, we are two thousand years after the beginning of the one thousand years reign. If it was a thousand year reign, then Satan was bound from 66 AD, until 1066. Then let out for a little season. That can not be the case because WE are one thousand years after 1066. Satan cannot be let out of his prison for the same amount of time that he was bound.**
**Which is why people have come up with the lie of Tartaria. The mud floods, and a thousand years being added to our history.**
**The truth is, Jesus’ reign was only four years. He reigned from Passover of 66 AD, until Passover of 70 AD. I know the temple was destroyed in August of 70, but I will explain why Jesus’ reign ended months before that at passover, as we go along.**
**Jesus let them know when the end would be, he let the people know when he would come in his kingdom. It was when the gospel was finished being preached to all nations, then the end would come.**
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 **And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.**
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Luke 21: 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
**Luke says it plainer than Matthew. Matthew said when they saw the abomination of desolation, Luke said when they saw Jerusalem compassed with armies. They both said flee Judea. That was when the end would be, that would be Jesus coming in his kingdom with his Holy Angels, and that would be then reigning with Christ in his kingdom, Sitting on thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.**
**Now, notice what Matthew said. He said the gospel of the kingdom would be preached in all the world to all nations and the end would be, but next he said THEREFORE when they saw the abomination, or the armies surrounding Jerusalem. THEREFORE meant a continuation of the thought. Put together what Matthew and Luke said, and use some common sense. Here is what they said, The gospel would be preached until the armies came to Jerusalem and the believers fled into the wilderness. The gospel would be preached until the gospel preachers fled into the wilderness. Then The people preaching the gospel were no longer there. Then there was a separation made between the believers and unbelievers. Then the wrath of Jesus would come on the unbelievers. The gospel was preached until they reigned with Christ, sitting on thrones with him and judging the twelve tribes of Israel.**
**There is no doubt the twelve tribes of Israel were judged between 66 and 70 AD. Their whole way of life was destroyed. Their writings were burned, their language was killed, their temple was destroyed. Their cities were systematically burned to the ground and salted to turn Judea into a desert where nothing would grow. Five hundred Jews were crucified a day until they ran out of wood in the area. Their priest hood was lost, their daily sacrifice was gone. Josephus said that Jerusalem was so laid even with the ground, that when strangers came they could not tell it had ever been inhabited.**
**For the reign of Christ to happen, first the believers that would reign with him had to be killed. To bring the wrath on the unbelievers, first they had to kill the believers, but it was 144,000 who were appointed to die, because they would make of the temple. Once their bodies made up the temple, they could reign with Christ from the clouds. Once they became the temple, then the temple on earth could be destroyed, The temple on earth could not be destroyed until where the temple was switched places.**
**The first thing that had to happen, was the gospel had to be preached to all nations, then the end would come. As the apostles preached the gospel, they sealed up the 144000. Once the 144000 were killed then Jesus could return in his kingdom, because they were his kingdom.**
**So was the gospel preached to all nations?**
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, **out of every nation under heaven.**
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
**We see that the gospel was preached to all nations under heaven in their day, and then the end came. Then the armies came to Jerusalem, then the believers fled into the wilderness, and at that time, the reign of Christ began.**
**What did Jesus command the apostles?**
Mark 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
**Jesus said preach the gospel to every creature. Paul said the gospel was preached to every creature.**
Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 **But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.**
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
**Jesus said they would preach to the ends of the earth, and Paul said they did preach to the ends of the earth.**
**It was all about the kingdom. Jesus warned the people that they did not know the day or the hour, and that it was it means here in Acts 1 also. They said would the kingdom of Israel be restored? Jesus said not yet, you go preach the gospel to all the world, then I’ll come back in my kingdom. For now I am going up in the clouds to ascend to heaven and prepare a place for you, so that where I am you can be with me also. You go preach the gospel, and then I will come back in the clouds and get you. Then you will be caught up in the clouds to meet me in the air, and you will be with me forever. Of course I am putting many verses together so you can get the meaning.**
**So when did Jesus come back in the clouds? It had to be after the tribulation of the saints, it had to be after the death of the 144000.**
**In 64 AD a fire burned Rome to the ground. Many fires were set in many places. It was an enemey of Rome that did it. No doubt it was the zealots. No doubt people saw them and said the Jews set the fires. It was not a good political move to fight the Jews and the zealots, since the Jews made up ten percent of the Roman empires population. Out of the fifty nations of people living in the Roman empire, the Jews were 1 out of every ten people. There were over 7 million Jews in the empire. They had synagogues in every city that meant anything in the Roman empire. They had more money than anyone in the empire. They contributed to Rome more than any people in the empire.**
**They had the temple, which from the foundations and columns under ground to the temple and mount above ground, was the largest man made structure on earth. one of the stones is four times largest than the largest stone in the Egyptian pyramids.**
**So instead of blaming the fire on the Zealots, Nero blamed the fire on the Christians. It was the best move for Nero. It wasn’t a good idea to fight the Zealots and the Jewish people, and the Christians didn’t believe in fighting back, and they were hated by the rest of the Jews. So it was free reign on the Christians. People beat them all over the Empire, turned them in. Their own families turned on them. Nero had them ripped apart by dogs for sport in arenas, They had fetters tied to their feet and were drowned in the sea. They were murdered while their kids watched, and while their parents watched. There was a group of them in prison and given a title “Doomed to the flames of burnt.**
**That meant they knew they were next up to light the walkways and Nero’s courtyard being burned alive for candle light. That is where the firework Roman Candle comes from.**
**Many people fell away from the truth at that time. They left Jesus, they stopped being Christian. Their families turned them in. They said here i s a Christian, because they could be killed for harboring a Christian. It was the great tribulation.**
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
Matthew 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
**You’re seeing the whole story now aren’t you?**
**Explaining each point I brought up so far. I said the one hundred and forty four thousand had to die first before Jesus could return and reign.**
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, **and with him an hundred forty and four thousand,** having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but **the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.**
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. **These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.**
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
**When Jesus returned, the dead in Christ rose first, but people don’t understand what Paul was saying because of the wording of the translation.**
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: **and the dead in Christ shall rise first:**
17 **Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.**
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
**People think it is saying that the dead would in the beginning of a split second, and then the living would rise in the same second in the twinkling of an eye. It isn’t saying that. The dead rising first is because they rose years before the rest. The dead that rose reigned with Christ.**
**The 144k were the first fruits to God, and they reigned with Christ.**
**When did they Rise? After they died. First they had to go through great tribulation. Which they did from 64-66 AD.**
**This next quote is from Google AI when asked how many Jews lived in the land of Judea in the first century?**
“In the first century, the Jewish population of Judea is estimated to have been between 500,000 and 600,000. This population included both those living in the region of Judea itself, as well as those in Galilee and Samaria.”
**Many and I mean many times in the Bible when it says LAND or EARTH, it is speaking of the land of Judea. The word Earth as in the planet didn’t exist until the 1300’s or later.**
**Read the fourth seal in the book of Revelation.**
Revelation 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
**Nero went about to kill the Christians, and he did. He killed 144000 of them. There were millions of Jews living in the Roman empire, but in the LAND of Judea, which is what this prophecy is referring to, there were about 600,000 Jews living. Nero was given power over a fourth part of the earth, he killed a fourth of the land of Judea which was 144,000. Regardless of where the Jews were killed under Nero, the fourth part is a prophecy that is counting the 144,000 from the land of Judea. The 144,000 were appointed to die. As they were being killed they waited under the altar in Jerusalem.**
Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
**When it says that should be killed as they were, it meant there was a certain amount of people who were appointed to die before the 6th seal, before Jesus could return. Once the 144,000 were done being killed then Jesus could return in his kingdom because they were his kingdom, they were his temple. Once they became the temple of God with Christ, reigning with him, then the temple on earth could be destroyed, because God could leave the temple.**
**I said they were his kingdom, they were the temple.**
**As the gospel was preached, they became the temple of God, and they were building themselves up into an holy temple in the Lord.**
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
**Once they died, they became the pillars of the temple.**
**Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that **overcometh** will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Revelation 12:11 And they **overcame** him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
**as they died they waited under the altar in Jerusalem. Once the 144K were killed then the sixth seal could happen and the wrath of the lamb could begin. All these things are what Jesus said while on earth. He told them they would be delivered up to councils and put to death, they would preach the gospel before that. Then there would be great wrath on the Jews and they would fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all nations. That was the wrath of the lamb, and the reign of Christ, when they sat on the throne with him and destroyed and judged Israel.**
**Again what did Jesus tell them? He said he would not sup with the people again until he returned. He said he appointed them a kingdom. He said he would not sit on his throne until he returned with all his holy angels (SAINTS). he said they would sit on the throne with him and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.**
Matthew 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
**Jesus said he wouldn’t drink of that vine until he drank it with them in his kingdom. When Revelation was written he was standing at the door knocking because he was about to drink with them and sup with them again. While they destroyed Israel.**
Luke 22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matthew 19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
**Jesus did not sit on his throne until he returned at the sixth seal when the wrath came on the Jews.**
**When Jesus returned in 66 AD with all his Saints and in his kingdom, he came with the rod of Iron to destroy unbelieving Israel. The 144,000 also had the rod of Iron with him, they sat on the throne with him, they destroyed israel with him, that ate and drank in his kingdom.**
Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
**They reigned with him, and again Revelation shows it would happen in their lifetime. They had to hold that fast what they ALREADY had, until he came.**
**I have proven for a fact that the reign of Christ, the first resurrection of the dead, and Christ’s return happened in the lifetime of the people Jesus spoke to in the first century. I have proven that it did happen, so now I’ll talk about what it was, When Satan was bound, and let loose and the details of the reign of Christ.**
**After the fifth seal, after the 144k were killed, Jesus returned on the clouds in 66 AD with the one hundred and forty four thousand with him. He was able to return because Satan was cast down. The 144k were able to meet Christ in the air in his kingdom because Satan was cast down. The temple was able to be destroyed because it was no longer God’s temple. God left the temple. The man of sin could come and sit in the temple because it was no longer God’s temple.**
**The sixth seal of Revelation**
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
**The first people to be with Jesus in his kingdom and reign with him in his wrath were the 144k**
Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
**when could they be with Jesus? When did their salvation Come? When Satan was cast down to earth at the reign of Christ. When Jesus said the stars of heaven would fall, he was talking about Satan’s angels being cast down. What you just read from the sixth seal, Satan and his angels, or the stars were cast to the earth.**
Matthew 24:29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
**Immediately after the believers went through tribulation from 64-66 AD, the stars of heaven fell, and the sun was as black as sackcloth of hair. This happened under the sixth seal.**
**It happened at the return of Christ in 66 AD**
**When Satan was cast down, the 144k went up to be with Jesus. Jesus and Satan could not reign at the same time. Once he was cast down, then salvation came, and the kingdom of God, and the power of his Christ.**
Revelation 12:1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
**Israel travailed in birth and brought forth Jesus. Satan tried to kill Jesus as soon as he was born. That was Herod trying to kill all the babies when Jesus was born. Jesus died and was caught up to heaven, to the throne of God. After Jesus was caught up to the throne, he was the lamb slain before the throne, and the believers overcame Satan by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.**
**Until Jesus opened the sixth seal**
Revelation 5:6
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
**The seven eyes are the seven seals, and the seven horns are the seven trumpets, that was Jesus’ lot, that was his wrath and purpose. Then the seven vials are the wrath of God almighty.**
**When Jesus opened the sixth seal, Satan was cast down and salvation came. Those who endured until the end were saved. It wasn’t until Satan was cast down and the stars with him that Jesus’ wrath began, and Jesus sat on the throne.**
**We know the sixth seal happened in their lifetime in the first century, and is when they cried for the mountains and rocks to fall on them and cover them.**
Luke 28:26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
**Recap so I don’t lose anyone. Jesus died, and rose to heaven to prepare a place for the believers. They went and preached the gospel until the wrath came on the Jews, and the gentiles came to make war against Jerusalem. As the believers preached the gospel they sealed up and saved the twelve tribes of Israel. In 64 AD a fire burned Rome to the ground and many fell away from Christ because Nero blamed the fire on the Christians and put them through great tribulation. The believers overcame Satan by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony and loved not their lives unto the death. As the believers died they waited under the altar for the rest of the 144k to be killed as they were. Once the 144k were killed then Jesus could return with them, They were his first fruits and they reigned with Christ and before the throne of God and on them the second death had no power. They were caught up to meet Jesus in the air in 66 AD and Satan was cast down to the earth knowing he had but a short time. That is when the reign of Christ began. The 144k were the temple of God with Christ ruling and reigning with him. Since they became the temple and were with Christ, the temple on earth could be destroyed, and God left the temple.**
**Here is what happened when Satan was cast down. Jesus began to reign, the first resurrection happened, Satan chased the rest of the believers, the living believers into the wilderness where they had a place prepared of God for 1260 days away from the face of the serpent. The man of sin was able to come to the temple because the glory cloud of God left the temple and went into the wilderness with the believers where God nourished them away from Satan for 1260 days.**
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
**Paul let them know there had to be a falling away first, which there was when Nero persucuted the Christians from 64-66. Paul let them know the mystery of iniquity was already working. He let them know the man of sin could not Come until the glory cloud left the temple., until God left the temple. Then the man of sin could sit in the temple. Paul let them know it was that temple that was standing back then, and Jesus would return to destroy the man of sin who sat in the temple. Just as Jesus said on earth, what was the sign of his coming and end of the age? The temple’s destruction.**
**What was Jesus’ wrath? There would be great wrath upon that people the Jews, and they would fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all nations when the gentiles trampled the city underfoot until the times of the gentiles were fulfilled.**
**When was the wrath? When the believers fled into the wilderness. When did the believers flee into the wilderness? When Satan was cast down.**
**So next is the story in history, and the Bible to back it up.**
**Josephus was part of the war between 66-70 AD. He wrote very long, very detailed books called wars of the Jews. Here is the AI overview from book 6 chapter 5 and the signs He mentioned.**
In Josephus’s Wars of the Jews, Book 6, Chapter 5, he describes several supernatural signs that occurred before the destruction of Jerusalem, which were interpreted by some as portents of impending doom. These signs include a bright light around the Temple altar, a cow giving birth to a lamb in the Temple, and the heavy eastern gate of the inner sanctuary opening on its own. Additionally, Josephus mentions a star resembling a sword and a comet that lasted for a year, all of which were interpreted as signs of the city’s impending destruction.
**All those signs happened between Passover in 66 AD, and Pentecost (fifty days after Passover). Also another sign AI did not mention.**
Flavius Josephus, in his historical account of the Jewish War, describes a supernatural event where “chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding of cities” before sunset. This occurred shortly before the Feast of Pentecost, and was witnessed by many, according to the account on intertextual.bible. Josephus notes that this event, along with other strange occurrences, seemed like a fable but was validated by the subsequent events of the war.
**I’ll put it all together as God has put it together for me, through dreams, visions, and then revelation about what I was told.**
**During the seven day feast of unleavened bread following the Passover in 66 AD, a cow gave birth to a lamb in the temple. The east gate that the Messiah would enter through on his return, opened on it’s own. A superhuman voice came up in the temple telling the people to depart, or that gods were leaving that place. People have interpreted those differently. These were all warnings of doom because Jesus was about to return with his saints.**
**The Light around the altar was the 144k Being resurrected. Once they were resurrected, Satan could be cast down. Jesus began to reign. The glory cloud could leave the temple, and the things were being set up for the final battle.**
**Before 66 AD, Satan was using Rome to persecute the Christians, and then kill them. That was Satan sending a flood after the Christians trying to kill them all. Satan and Rome were fighting against Jesus and the saints.**
**But once Satan was cast down, he knew his time was coming. Jesus now ruled in heaven, he got the Rod of Iron, Jesus got power over Rome, the Iron kingdom.**
**In September of 66 AD, The Jews had begun to revolt, they had started Riots over taxes and when Rome sent a legion of soldiers to put down the rebellion, a Jewish Zealot leader named Simon Bar Giora slaughtered the Roman legion. A Roman legion was about 6000 soldiers back then.**
**So in September of 66 AD Rome sent 30,000 soldiers towards Jerusalem. The Jewish zealots cut them off at the battle of Beth Horon and slaughtered man of them and sent the rest fleeing. The believers in Christ fled into the wilderness, and Satan was thrown into the bottomless pit. Jesus had power over Rome at that time. Rome’s attention turned from the Christians, to the Zealots, allowing the Christians to flee into the wilderness.**
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
**That flood that was swallowed up, was Satan being thrown into the Bottomless pit. He could not deceive the nations any longer because the believers had fled into the wilderness, they had a place prepared away from the serpent because he was thrown into the bottomless pit.**
